Our site in Sins is located in the center of Switzerland between Zurich and Lucerne. Besides belonging to the 3A Composites Core Materials division, it is its divisional head office. Since its foundation more than 65 years ago, the Swiss operation has been producing AIREX® and FOREX®, the leading brands in the composites, sports and visual communication markets, which have decisively contributed to the Core Materials success story. The AIREX® products are special closed cell foams for sandwich technology and gymnastics, and the FOREX® products PVC sheets used in advertising and stand construction. SMART-X® lightweight sheets complement its production range for the visual communication market. The Swiss operation markets the whole 3A Composites Core Materials product range, comprised of AIREX® foams and BALTEK® balsa wood composite materials, in the EMEA, the Near East and India.
